Description

Template:Weapon Template The Rifle is a long range bolt-action firearm that can only be obtained via production in a Weapon Factory. It uses 7.62mm ammunition. It is a very well-rounded weapon and can be used in almost any circumstance. It can be adapted to launch Frag Grenades when the player equips a Grenade Launcher adaptation.

It is only outperformed in close quarters by SMGs and Shotguns.

• The Rifle is a very decent all round choice for any soldier and will be the most common weapon produced.
• Crouching or going prone will significantly increase accuracy to near perfect for mid ranges.
• While the effective range of this weapon is very long it cannot be considered a sniper rifle, shots will drop off and deal significantly less damage, typically just past the end of the screen.
