The Mass Production Factory (MPF) is a structure that produces crates of items and shippable crates of structures and vehicles at a discounted rate.
Description[ | ]
The MPF can produce crates of small arms , heavy arms , heavy ammunition , and uniforms like a Factory, but also shippable crates of vehicles and structures (anything that can be made at a Garage, Shipyard, or Construction Yard). By default, each shippable crate contains 3 vehicles/structures.
One player can only have one order queued per category (and per MPF) at any given time. An order can only contain a single type of crate. For every crate in the production order, an additional 10% discount is applied up to a maximum of 50%. That is, the first crate costs 90%, the second 80%, and so on until the fifth and additional crates cost 50% of their base cost, making the average discount order of 9 item crates cost 61%, and a full order of 5 vehicle/structure crates cost 70% of their base cost. When ordering Factory items, a minimum of 3 crates are required. Orders can contain up to 9 crates for items and up to 5 for vehicles and structures. They can be set to "personal" (only you can retrieve them once completed), "squad" (only members of your squad can), and "public". Only personal and squad orders produce reservable crates that can be stored in private stockpiles. Orders listed in the Output window can be filtered by "personal" , "squad" , or "public" type.
The MPF can only process one order from a category at a time. Subsequent orders are queued and each category can only queue up to 25 orders. The production time per crate is 10 times longer compared to Factory but more orders in queue shorten the total production time. When there are 25 orders queued (the maximum number of orders a category can have) the production speed is 15 times faster for item crates (just 67% longer than factory time) and 12.5 times faster for vehicle and structure crates. Unlike normal factories completed personal and squad orders become public after 52 hours.
Shippable crates of vehicles and structure produced at the MPF are retrieved via the MPF's loading area and will require a Crane or Flatbed Truck to be transported. The vehicles/structures inside can only be retrieved after the shippable crates are submitted to a Storage Depot or Seaport and unpacked there.
The materials required for the orders must be either in the building's inventory, in your inventory or in your vehicle's inventory. It is also possible to start orders with material crates that are inside a Shipping Container or Small Shipping Container placed on the MPF's loading area with a crane but ONLY if those material crates are NOT reservable.
Finished orders of item crates can be retrieved on foot, from the driver seat of a vehicle, or by placing a Shipping Container on the loading area.
- Depending on how many crates are produced in the order, you may not be able to retrieve them, as you may not have enough inventory space (i.e. having an order of 9 crates, but having only 7 free inventory slots).
- This is different to vehicle/structure orders where they are individually removed (retrieving a Shippable Crate in an order of 5 will bring the order to an order containing 4 Shippable Crates)

Discount[ | ]
The discount of the items can be seen when preparing but not starting an order, each subsequent item is further discounted; for example queueing 9 items that cost 100 X each would make the cost: 550 = [90+80+70+60+50+50+50+50+50]. 38.8% discount when queueing 9 crates.
Keep in mind when when making vehicles you 1) can only queue 5 at a time, and 2) each order is 3 times the cost of the base vehicle as each crate is 3 of said vehicle. Using the same premise a vehicle costing 100 X each and queueing 5 would cost 1050 = [270+240+210+180+150]. 30% discount when queueing 5 crates.

- * 85K-b "Falchion" crates have 5 items for the same cost of a normal crate. Meaning that for the cost of 15 tanks (10,5 x unit cost), you get 25 tanks. The discount is 58%.

Tips[ | ]
Despite the higher costs to create a full order of equipment (either 9 crates or 5 Shippable Crates), it is highly recommended to use the MPF whenever possible, as additional orders will decrease the amount of time for all the work orders in front of you. Despite the large estimation time at the bottom left of the work order (upwards up to 2 IRL days), if there are more players adding orders into the MPF, then that number will be significantly less than the estimation time.
- Although it is recommended to produce a full equipment order, any order that produces a crate or Shippable crate will count as a order and decrease the production time of whoever is in front of you.
- You are able to see the amount of queues in an MPF on the map by hovering your mouse on the MPF. This gives you a good idea of whether or not it is possible for you to use the MPF at that time.
Due to materials such as Refined Materials and Heavy Explosive Materials being harder to come by, compared to Basic Materials and Explosive Materials, it is recommended to use the MPF whenever you produce equipment containing them. While the MPF takes more time to produce equipment, it is more cost effective, especially for equipment that require a lot of Refined Materials, like a Cutler or a Bane 45.
- This is especially true when producing vehicles such as Tanks and Field Guns, which have a high cost to them, which can be beneficial when the discount is applied to the order.
Private and Squad orders are available in the MPF and remain in Reserve for 48 hours before being released to the public, compared to the Factory, where orders are released to the public after 60 minutes.
- When the phrase "released to the public" is being used, it refers to the order being publicly thrown into the MPF or Factory's inventory. If it was produced either as a Private, or Squad order, then it will have the "Reservable" labeled on it.
You can check who made an order by putting your cursor on the category icon on the left of the order, this only works if the player is online.
