An anti-armor turret used to fortify against heavy vehicles.
In-game description

The Gun Turret (also called an AT) is an anti-vehicle defensive building. It will automatically fire on any enemy vehicle within range. The Gun Turret does not target infantry, cannot be manned, and does not need ammunition. It has perfect accuracy, however its shots can be avoided by moving behind obstacles.

Like other static defensive structures, the Gun Turret needs to be within 80m of a Forward Base or 150m of a Static Base (with AI upgrade activated) for it to fire on enemy targets.

The Gun Turret has a maximum range of 22m.

Notes

  • Gun Turrets fire on both ships and land-based vehicles meaning they can be used for coastal defense.
  • Gun Turrets are immune to small arms and heavy machine gun fire but are vulnerable to heavy explosives.
  • If fired on first it will fire back at the attacking vehicles, ships, or Infantry Support Gun even if it is outside its normal range.
  • Gun Turrets fire in a full 360 degree arc. However, they can be slow to turn.
  • Players can climb on top of the turret using the ladder at the rear.
  • Gun Turrets will target enemy Bicycles. This allows Bicycles to be used as temporary decoys.
  • They deal approximately the same amount of damage as RPGs.
