Damaged Components are a raw Resource that can be refined into Components at a 30:20 conversion rate in a Metalworks Factory's Recycler.

They are produced by a Stationary Harvester (Components)'s Excavator upgrade. Unlike the normal components the production of damaged components do not consume nodes of the Component Field and continue to produce Damaged Components even while the field is empty. They consume 1 L of Petrol to produce 1.5 Damaged Component (6L / 9 Damaged Component), taking 12 seconds.

As you need to convert the Damaged Components to Components in the Recycler, in the end, the ratio is 1:1 of Petrol:Component (compare with around 1:30 ratio of Component Mine)
