The Component Mine produces Components when fueled. Whilst fueled, it dispenses Components into the inventory at a constant cycle. Fuel type does not change the speed of a cycle, only the amount produced. A mine can be refuelled by hand (by equpping a fuel can, then holding LMB) or by using a Fuel Tanker, it is much quicker to use a fuel tanker.

Each cycle outputs either 1 or 3 components dependent on which type of fuel is being used. Each cycle takes 4 seconds.

  • When Diesel is used, 1 component is made every 4 seconds and is considered to be 'Low Efficiency'.
  • When Petrol is used, 3 components are produced every 4 seconds and is considered 'High Effiiciency'.

A component mine is capable of storing 1000 units of each type of fuel, each fuel can stores 100 units of fuel meaning a maximum of both 10 Diesel and Petrol cans are able to be stored in a component mine. For every cycle 1 unit of fuel is used so 1 fuel can will run for 100 cycles and will run for 400 seconds.

Components mines are also capable of producing technology parts at a semi-regulary rate and are a good source especially during the beginning of the war, they are also the only source of components and thus, producing Refined Materials available at the beginning before Sledge Hammers have been unlocked.

All resource mines can be observed on the map with a tooltip displaying the current fuel status for both types of fuel and how much has been produced. A mine that is filled and no longer outputting at less then its maximum inventory size is a good indicator for a Technology Part.
