This anti-personnel fragmentation grenade is designed with pull-pin mechanics and a timed fuse for user safety. Serrations in the casing allow for a better grip and increased fragmentation effectiveness.
In-game description

The A3 Harpa Fragmentation Grenade is the Warden fragmentation Grenade. It is only useful against infantry. It has a 4 second fuse. It has slightly less range than the Colonial one but does more damage. Its explosion has a 5.5m radius.

It deals no damage Structures and deals mediocre amounts to Vehicles. Infantry garrisoned inside structures (like Pillboxes) or vehicles can't be hurt by grenades.

To throw the grenade:

  1. Hold down RMB (right mouse button). This will show a white arch, showing the path of the Frag Grenade.
  2. Press LMB (left mouse button) to throw it.

You can also hold LMB to cook it, making it explode earlier, therefore not giving the enemy time to react. But if you hold it too long, it can explode in your hand! When a grenade is thrown, if a grenade of the same type exists in the backpack, it will automatically be equipped.

Alternatively it can be launched from a warden grenade launcher to achieve longer range. It can't be launched with the colonial grenade launcher however.

Trivia[ | ]

Despite being modeled on a frag grenade and having "Fragmentation" in its name, the Harpa does not do shrapnel damage

Historical Reference[ | ]

The A3 Harpa Fragmentation Grenade is based on the American Mk. 2 Grenade.
